Our History We opened our doors in 1990 and have been serving families in New Berlin and the surrounding communities since. In our first year of operation we started with 3K and 4K classed. Blessed Savior Lutheran has since expanded to include an Extended 4K and child care services.
Our Staff Sue Murack, Director/4K teacher - Sue is the Director of the Early Childhood Center. She also teaches in the 4K program. Sue earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Carroll University. She is licensed to teach children from pre-kindergarten through 8th grade. Sue has been teaching at Blessed Savior since 1998 and has been Director since 2007.
Ann Dagenhardt, 3K Teacher - Ann is the 3K teacher. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education from Marian University. She has her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from UW-Whitewater. Ann has been teaching here since 1997. She had taught in the 4K program for 10 years before becoming the lead teacher for 3K.
Joan Sander, 4K Teacher - Joan is one of the 4K teachers. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Concordia University. Joan has been part of Blessed Savior Lutheran ECC since 2004.
Dana Jaeger, Child Care Teacher - Dana is a teacher in the child care. She earned an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education from WCTC. She brings experience from teaching Sunday School and internships at childcare facilities. Dana joined our staff in 2008.
Shannon McNiel, 3K/4K Combined Class Teacher - Shannon is a teacher in the 3K/4K classroom. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from UW-Stevens Point and her Master of Arts in Teaching degree at Cardinal Stritch University. She is certified to teach from pre-kindergarten through sixth grade. Shannon has been teaching here since 2007. She also has experience with in-home therapy for children with autism.
